School Resources

The first few weeks back to school for our children is a time for review of old studies, adjusting to their new schedule, and getting to know their new classmates and teachers. When our children go back to school, it is also an adjustment time for all of us moms no matter if you send your children to school or you home-school.

For those of you who send your children to school, at first, some are excited because it gives them a break, while others are a little more emotional because their child is starting their first day of kindergarten or are a senior in high school and will soon be headed off to college.

For those of you whom home-school your children, you are the parent and teacher. Your year is just starting in preparation to teach your child everything they need to know for their given grade. Preparing to home-school, if this is your first year can leave you nervous, anxious and excited.

If you are a home schooling mom, the Home School Directory has a list of support groups, co-ops and cover schools within your area. You will also find ideas for your curriculums, free printables and resources for you in every subject.
