You have just received your kit and now you are ready to start your new Party Plan Business...What do you do now? How do you get bookings?


A great way to start is have your own Grand Opening Party!


Read your handbooks and familiarize yourself with your products...You don’t have to know everything just yet. You will learn as you go!


Having a Grand Opening Party will help you learn to do a presentation as well as give you the opportunity to also be the hostess and earn the benefits to add to your kit..


• Pick a Date for you party
• Make a guest list: Be sure to add family, friends, church members, organization members that you may be a part of, neighbors, co-workers, etc.
*A tip: Only 1/3 of invited guest usually will attend the party, so don’t be afraid to over invite. *
• Have invitations with you, so when you are out and about, you can hand them out when you see someone. There are always people to invite that you don’t think of when making out invitations.
• Practice setting up your display... Use brightly colored table covering and material to make your display stand out...Use boxes or other items under your material to make your display multi-layered.
• Plan your menu: Make your refreshment light and easy. Finger foods will make your work easier and allow you more time to interact with your guests. It also shows potential hostesses that you don’t have to do a lot of work to have a show...
• Practice your presentation and don’t be afraid to use notes...This allows those that may be looking for additional income to see that this might be something they would be able to do...
• Call your guest a couple days before the party to see if they will be able to attend. If they are not able to ask them if they would like to see a catalog, or offer them an incentive to book a show
• Dress Casual but professional. If you want others to take you seriously, you need to look the part.
• Be sure to include all aspects of the business in your presentation. This becomes familiar and once you get it down, you will know where you are in your presentation...

1. Hostess Welcome
2. Why story( short summary of why you chose this business)
3. Product Presentation
4. Hostess Program
5. Business Opportunity
6. Game
7. Closing and Orders
• Play a fun Party Game or have a door prize. Making your party fun will entice potential hostess to book a show.
• Be sure to have a special for hostess bookings. Most companies have monthly special, but if yours doesn’t, make one up yourself.
• Have Hostess Packets, Opportunity Packets ready before the show. Also have dates marked on your calendar of when you want to hold your next party. Being prepared will make your show run smoothly.
• Lastly, Have Fun! If you are having fun, your guests will want to too!
